About the Role
We are hiring Technical Documentation Writers to create and maintain documentation for software products, APIs, and internal systems. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content for developers and end-users alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and maintain API documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand technical features
- Create clear diagrams, screenshots, and code examples to illustrate concepts
- Review and edit documentation for accuracy, consistency, and readability
- Manage documentation repositories using version control and static site generators
- Gather feedback from users to continuously improve documentation quality
Who You Are
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Familiarity with Markdown, reStructuredText, or similar documentation formats
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and APIs
- Experience with documentation tools like ReadTheDocs, GitBook, or Docusaurus
- Strong research and interviewing skills to extract information from subject matter experts
- 1-3 years of technical writing experience
