About the Role
We are hiring Database Administrators to support our growing portfolio of global clients. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression. This is a fully remote role open to candidates worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain database servers including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
- Monitor database performance and tune queries, indexes, and configurations for optimal speed
- Implement backup and recovery strategies and perform regular restore drills
- Manage database security including user access, encryption, and auditing
- Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patch management
- Troubleshoot database issues including replication lag, deadlocks, and connection pooling
Who You Are
- Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
- Proficiency in SQL query optimisation and performance tuning
- Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies
- Experience with database monitoring tools and automation
- Understanding of data security best practices and compliance requirements
- 3+ years of database administration experience preferred
