About the Role

We are looking for Database Support Analysts to manage, monitor, and support client database systems. You will handle queries, backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for database enthusiasts who enjoy keeping data organised and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor database performance, availability, and security across multiple client environments
  • Write and optimise SQL queries for reporting and data analysis
  • Perform routine database maintenance, indexing, and vacuum operations
  • Manage database backups, restoration testing, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Troubleshoot database errors, connection issues, and deadlocks
  • Assist development teams with schema design and query optimisation

Who You Are

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Understanding of database security, user management, and access controls
  • Familiarity with cloud database services (RDS, Cloud SQL) is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting skills
  • 2-4 years of database administration or support experience
