We are hiring Tax Preparers to assist clients in preparing and filing their tax returns. You will gather financial information, calculate tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with tax laws. This is a seasonal role with flexible remote working arrangements. This is a fully remote role open to candidates worldwide, with opportunities across a growing portfolio of global clients. The salary for this role is $400 - $900 , paid monthly in USD, and reflects RemoteTask Online's global compensation model for fully remote professionals.
A typical day involves logging into our secure portal, reviewing your task queue, and prepare individual and business tax returns accurately using tax preparation software. From there you will interview clients to gather income, deduction, and credit information. Most work is self-directed: you receive daily or weekly targets and organise your own schedule, as long as quality standards are met. You will use a combination of standard office tools and our proprietary internal systems.
This role is perfect for someone who can knowledge of federal and state tax laws and filing requirements and experience with tax preparation software (TurboTax, Drake, ProConnect, or similar). Full training is provided, and we actively promote from within — many of our current team leads started in this exact role.
