A typical day involves logging into our secure portal, reviewing your task queue, and prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies electronically and via paper. From there you will post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately in the billing system. Most work is self-directed: you receive daily or weekly targets and organise your own schedule, as long as quality standards are met. You will use a combination of standard office tools and our proprietary internal systems.
This role is perfect for someone who can experience with medical billing software and revenue cycle management processes and understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding for billing purposes. Full training is provided, and we actively promote from within — many of our current team leads started in this exact role.
