We are looking for Transcriptionists to convert audio and video recordings into accurate written documents. You will work with diverse content across industries, ensuring clarity and precision in every transcript. This role is ideal for excellent listeners with strong language skills. The salary for this role is $300 - $600 , paid monthly in USD, and reflects RemoteTask Online's global compensation model for fully remote professionals.
A typical day involves logging into our secure portal, reviewing your task queue, and transcribe audio and video recordings with high accuracy and attention to detail. From there you will proofread and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar and punctuation. Most work is self-directed: you receive daily or weekly targets and organise your own schedule, as long as quality standards are met. You will use a combination of standard office tools and our proprietary internal systems.
This role is perfect for someone who can excellent listening skills and typing speed of 60+ WPM and strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Full training is provided, and we actively promote from within — many of our current team leads started in this exact role.
