Transcriptionist

About the Role

We are looking for Transcriptionists to convert audio and video recordings into accurate written documents. You will work with diverse content across industries, ensuring clarity and precision in every transcript. This role is ideal for excellent listeners with strong language skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio and video recordings with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar and punctuation
• Research unfamiliar terms, names, and acronyms to ensure accuracy
• Format transcripts according to client specifications and style guides
• Meet daily and weekly transcription targets while maintaining quality standards
• Manage audio files and maintain organised records of completed transcripts

Who You Are

• Excellent listening skills and typing speed of 60+ WPM
• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Ability to understand diverse accents and audio qualities
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Comfortable using transcription software and foot pedals
• 0-2 years of transcription experience preferred but not required
