Online Community Moderator

About the Role

We are looking for Online Community Moderators to manage and grow communities across social platforms, forums, and branded spaces. You will engage with members, enforce guidelines, spark conversations, and report insights. This role combines customer engagement with content moderation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor community platforms daily for user-generated content and engagement
• Enforce community guidelines and code of conduct consistently
• Respond to member questions, comments, and concerns in a timely manner
• Facilitate discussions and encourage meaningful interactions among members
• Identify and escalate toxic behaviour, spam, or policy violations
• Report weekly engagement metrics and community sentiment to stakeholders

Who You Are

• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with online communities, forums, and social media platforms
• Sound judgment when handling sensitive or contentious situations
• Ability to enforce rules fairly and consistently without bias
• Basic understanding of community analytics and reporting tools
• 1-2 years of community management or moderation experience
